Shane Meadows

Shane Meadows’ prolific and acclaimed body of work offers nuanced and ambiguous explorations of everyday life in Britain. He is perhaps best known for the cult film This Is England and its three television sequels for Channel 4.

 His other feature and television credits include Small time, Twenty Four Seven, Dead Man’s Shoes, A Room for Romeo Brass, Somers Town, The Virtues, and The Gallows Pole. He also directed the documentary The Stone Roses: Made of Stone and music videos for Liam Gallagher’s “Come Back to Me” and Jake Bugg’s “Slumville Sunrise.”

 He is currently in post-production on his most recent film, Chork.
